History of the brand
Hello. Welcome to our shop. We are Sami and Jana. We are two Brazilian sisters and we are the creators, designers, planners and everything in between! We have always loved sports and the gym!
I, Jana, have been in the USA for 18 years but have never found a gym outfit that I loved. That is why after talking to my sister Sami, we created our own line of fashion: sporty, feminine and unique!
There’s nothing quite like the perfect-fitting clothing to make us feel comfortable, sassy, confident and motivated in the gym. I’m drawn to themes of wonder, storytelling and the beauty of the natural world. My designs are explorations of rich colour palettes, movement and flow, and unique illustration.
We had bad experiences at the gym before which had made us extremely uncomfortable. So much so that we had no other option than to stop in the middle of our training and head back home.
Some of these bad were transparent clothing, stiff -rough fabrics, open seams, a sagging or dingy fit. Leggings that roll down, and the constantly pulling them back up was frustrating and embarrassing!
But not so with our Total Urban clothes!
We believe gym apparel can be stylish, charming and attractive, without being a cause for embarrassment or self-consciousness.
Our goal with Total Urban is to offer the best of the best.
You will perform, look, and feel your best while working out, running, biking, pract yoga, or engaging in your favorite sport activity!
